One of the most important gourmet events of the ending summer season
If you think that there are any non-combinable foods, you simply lack imagination and courage! The celebrated Berlin food blogger Per of “Berlin Food Stories" has yet again accomplished to prove this. Per has offered his followers an unbelievable gastronomical combination of Fried Chicken paired with yours truly, Lemberg Caviar.
Nobody has ever done this before! But as they say... if you don't take any chances you don't drink champagne! For a tasting of a shocking culinary novelty, Per gathered his Food Fanatics Club, whose members discover new tasteful experiences with interest and passion.
Per was convinced of the success of this combination. Our Lemberg team - let's be honest, was quite skeptical at first… But, in the end we thankfully agreed to combine street food with the most expensive delicacy in the world.
Believe it or not, we haven't regretted it since! Fried chicken with Osietra Caviar impressed even the most discerning guests of the event.
Berlin Food Stories brings fans of street food and haute cuisine together. Each taster had an incredible experience and rightly called this event one of the most important gourmet events of the ending summer season.

In preparing this truly extraordinary gastronomic show, special attention was paid to the drinks. Difficult choice: red wines are usually served with meat and white wines with seafood! The wine experts from the Berlin company ‘Vinculture’ found that the only right solution was light wines with subtle fruity notes. They succeed to accompany both the taste of Fried Chicken and Lemberg Caviar.
The guests of the event could also try the classic Lemberg salmon caviar pancakes. The most traditional combination, but as always an absolute success!
A party without dessert is just a meeting! According to Per, the only way to follow the daring combination of Fried Chicken and Caviar are Berlin Doughnuts. Because why not?!
The event also came to represent a symbolic dinner to unify the cuisine of several countries and cities and, at first glance, opposing gastronomic directions. Fried chicken is a popular street food all over America (and perhaps all over the world), pancakes are a prominent dish in the Eastern European cuisine, a typical Berliner from the Michelin-starred restaurant ‘Nobelhart and Schmutzig’, and of course the majestical sturgeon caviar from the Caviar House Lemberg.
Food fanatics and friends of Berlin Food Stories were happy about the culinary event on the rooftop of the Nobelhart and Schmutzig restaurant under the last rays of summer sunshine.
